Adirondack Paddling Pages

"Everyone must believe in something. I believe I'll go canoeing" - Henry David Thoreau

The Adirondack Park, a 6 million acre protected area, offers a wide range of paddling experiences from quiet flatwater canoeing on one of the thousands of lakes and ponds to kayaking class IV-V whitewater rapids.

Whatever your skill level, the Adirondacks offer a wide variety of wilderness paddling experiences. The links below should provide a starting point in planning your personal adventure.

We've been patienly waiting for event organizers to set dates for some events listed on this page. Since many are annual events, the old links have been left in place.

If you know of other paddling events in the Adirondacks or resources that should be listed here, please send us an email.
